Introduced Feb 2014, the Topaz-X is a compact, stand-alone digital Multi-Channel Analyzer (MCA) for Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Analysis.
The PCB board alone is available separately to OEM customers.
Main features:
- 50MHz, 14-bit precision flash ADC
- 100MHz DSP on high-performance FPGA
- Up to 4096 channels spectral memory of 32-bits depth
- Two modes of acquisition: Pulse Height Analysis (PHA) and Multi-Channel Scaling (MCS)
- Analog amplification factor from 1 to 256
