We have a job opportunity for a Service Engineer with practical experience in installations, setup of nuclear instrumentation and related projects.
The candidate will execute currently active service contracts and system installations as well as manage and schedule new services.
The candidate must have a high-education degree, particularly focused on the practical aspects of handling and operating nuclear radiation detection systems and related instrumentation.
The candidate must exhibit strong technical and practical skills for solving engineering problems and be able to work alone, searching for best, pragmatic and technically appropriate solutions.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning and execution of systems and instrument installations at customer's site.
- Planning and execution of service contracts and related interventions.
- Writing technical reports on services and instrument testing procedures.
- Providing technical support to customer's inquiries.
- Measurements and tests related to instruments and project development.
- Be part of an international team, participating actively into company's meetings, meetings with customers and/or other companies.
- To maintains QA/QC documents and to organize Service Unit documentation and structure.
Required skills and experience
- Service-oriented nuclear engineer, or Bachelor/Master degree from university or engineering school.
- Preferable 2 years of experience in carrying out installations and/or service of nuclear instrumentation and nuclear radiation systems.
- Organizational and planning skills with attention to details is a strong requirement.
- Good and practical knowledge of radiation detection systems and related instrumentation.
- Good communication and technical writing skills.
- Speaks fluently and writes in English language.
- Driving license
Desirable skills and experience
- Understanding statistical data analysis.
- Basic knowledge of programing languages.
- Proven experience in managing service contracts.
